2009 Heart of America Leadership Training for Christ Convention

The 2009 Leadership Training for Christ convention was held April 10 and 11 in Kansas City at the Hyatt Crown Center. HOALTC is an organization designed to stimulate and encourage spiritual, mental, and social growth among young men and women in grades three through twelve. Its mission is to achieve this growth by developing skills in leadership, Bible knowledge, and Christian servanthood. Skill development in each of these areas are accomplished through participation in a variety of individual and group events. These events take place within the context of a wholesome and supportive environment designed for the purpose of fostering enthusiasm and developing Christian leadership among the participants.

Kucharo Sound provided A/V services for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, along with numerous other meeting rooms over the 2 day convention.

This image shows the setup for opening and closing ceremonies. Setup consisted of 2 screens with drape kits, 2 3000 Lumen NEC Projectors, 8 600w Par 64’s.

Brent is configuring the dimmers for one of the light trusses. You also get a good view of the ETC Source Four being used for the gobo projection.

Using a prebuilt Microsoft PowerPoint theme, Kucharo Sound created a custom slide template for the convention. Kucharo Sound personnel compiled and operated the entire slideshow.

Bruce Dimick, the Board Chair, was the master of ceremonies for the Opening and Closing. This close shot shows the Audio-Technica AT892c MicroSet® omnidirectional condenser headworn microphone connected to a Audio-Technica 3000 series UniPak® transmitter. On the right side of the screen is a wired Sennheiser for general use.

The weekend's worship leader was Mitch Roush, he used a Audio-Technica ATW-T341C cardoid dynamic handheld microphone.
